What I bring to the table
I bring care, intuition, and thoughtful strategy to every project. With over 15 years of experience across marketing, graphic design, web design, video production, brand strategy, and creative direction, I help mission-driven individuals and organizations transform ideas into bold, beautiful design that tells their story and makes an impact.
I’ll listen closely and ask the right questions. Together, we’ll clarify your goals—and then bring them to life through visuals that connect, inspire, and stand out.
OberArt Creative is a one-woman studio powered by curiosity, compassion, and a passion for communication and design. It’s where all my skills intersect and thrive: design, storytelling, collaboration, and purpose-driven work.
I specialize in partnering with people and projects that support wellness, spirituality, human rights, education, community, the arts, holistic health, active living, and more. Whether you're building a brand, launching a campaign, or refreshing your web presence—I’m here to help you bring your vision into focus. And if your work doesn’t fit in a tidy box? Even better. Let’s make something original.
How I got here
I grew up in a VA suburb (of D.C.) and earned my BFA in Kinetic Imaging (video, sound, animation) from Virginia Commonwealth University. A study abroad semester in the UK deepened my love for visual storytelling, and after graduation, I followed that passion all the way to San Francisco.
In the Bay Area, I explored life as a freelance designer and videographer, collaborating with organizations like Clearworks market research firm, Moishe House, Bay Area JCC’s, and Jewish LearningWorks. My creative toolkit grew alongside my curiosity—branding, strategy, video, layout design, content creation, marketing—you name it, I dove in.
In 2015, love (his name is Ben) led me to Moab, Utah, where I became the City’s Arts & Special Events Director. I managed a historic community arts center, created the city’s first strategic Public Art Plan, led major renovation projects, and produced inclusive programming for all ages. Moab was a red rock dream—sunset hikes, river swims, friends and community that fed my soul.
In 2019, we excitedly relocated to Richmond, Virginia, to be closer to my family. Since then, I’ve continued my creative work while also exploring new roles, including farmer (we have a 20-acre homestead) and mom to a wonderful little human named Theo.
Need a thoughtful designer who brings experience, heart, and vision to the table?
Let’s connect.
